Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Version Exclusives
Version exclusives, Nintendo's way of making people buy every version of a Pokemon game, so that you can truly catch them all if you don't have wifi or someone to trade with. Version exclusives are Pokemon within a generation of games which can only be caught in a certain version.
In order to gain Pokemon not exclusive to a version, you need to trade with a friend or buy another copy of the game, but with a different version, and trade with yourself. Every generation has had version exclusives, but here we will only discuss the ones for the current generation, the D/P gen, aka Generation IV or the Gem Generation.
